Free Monthly Zoom Collaborative Practice Discussion Group

Co-Sponsored by Los Angeles County Bar Association Family Law Section

Topic Safety and Trust

By Fern Salka and Heidi Tuffias

How to answer the potential CDR client question, ‘Does a voluntary consensual process offer me as much protection as a traditional, litigated process?’ Attorneys Fern Topas Salka and Heidi Tuffias will explain how CDR provides protection that may be superior to the protection provided by a litigated process.  They will examine what clients worry about when they consider a consensual dispute resolution of their divorce and offer ideas about how to address both the CDR provider’s and client’s concerns. This will be followed by an opportunity for a group discussion.
