Janet is a skilled family law attorney with over 20 years of experience, including practicing law in two of Los Angeles’ premier large boutique family law firms, Freid and Goldsman, APLC and Meyer, Olson, Lowy & Meyers LLP. Janet has expertise litigating complex financial and child custody matters, and has training as a mediator and collaborative family law attorney. In addition to receiving her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Loyola Law School, Janet also holds a Masters of Social Work (M.S.W.) from University of Pennsylvania. She worked as a clinical social worker for a number of years prior to practicing family law. This background provides Janet with the unique ability to understand the language and thinking processes of mental health professionals involved with family law clients.
