My name is Jean Ruimy.  I’m a Financial Advisor, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) with Dax Wealth Management Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC.

I understand that divorce is extremely hard, emotionally and financially.  I divorced in 2018 and in the last 17 years, as a Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial, I have helped support many clients as they divorced. I have seen cooperative, amicable divorces and I have seen decade-long battles. I have seen equitable distributions and I have seen terrible inequities.  As a mother, I also understand the difficulties of divorce on a child.

My experience personally and professionally is the reason I decided to specialize in divorce planning.  My objective is to collaborate with my clients’ attorneys to help clients understand their situation and options, to make educated/less emotional decisions, and for my clients to have greater clarity and confidence in their settlement.
