Alison is a mediator and family law attorney at McGaughey & Spirito in Redondo Beach. She enjoys working with clients to resolve their divorce and parenting issues, learning about their children and financial goals, and counseling them on their options so they can make informed decisions that are right for them.
Alison is an executive committee member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (“LACBA”)’s Family Law Section. She is also a board member of the South Bay Bar Association (“SBBA”) and co-chair of SBBA’s Family Law Section. She believes that consensual dispute resolution is the future of family law and has written several articles on the benefits of collaborative divorce and mediation for clients and their children, as well as why millennials should explore careers in these fields.
